The project manager, implementer and guarantor of the Traditions online project is the Center of Traditional Culture in Detva, a branch of the Podpolianske edificational center in Zvolen – cultural institution of the Banská Bystrica Self-Governing Region (BBSGR). Center of Traditional Culture is an organization that specializes in research and documentation of selected phenomena of traditional culture and making them available to the professionals and public.

The project was created with the financial support of the Banská Bystrica Self-Governing Region (BBSGR) and with the methodological guidance of the Center for Traditional Folk Culture in Bratislava, a professional workplace of the Slovak State Traditional Dance Company.

Edificational centers of the Banská Bystrica region will contribute to the database.

All digitized objects are available on the web portal www.tradicie.online. You can download them for free and use them for non-commercial purposes. In their further propagation, it is necessary to mention the legal owner of the record as a source – the relevant edificational center.
